REVERSE MORTGAGE INFORMATION
We invite you to become a contributor to our open educational forum!
We are actively looking for members of the reverse mortgage community and experts from related industries to lend their experience and professional expertise in developing new educational courses or contributing an existing course, white paper, or publication.
Since we make all educational materials available free of charge, there is no compensation for your contribution. However, you will receive the following benefits:
Here’s how it Works: If you have an existing course, white paper, or publication that you believe would be beneficial to reverse mortgage professionals, email a copy to us at: Or, if you would like to develop a new course, then email a brief description of the course you intend to develop. Before you get started, we want to make sure that your course is not a duplicate of a course in development. Ideally, a course should be between 10 and 50 pages in length. An example of the type of educational materials we are looking to add can be found in our course entitled “How to Help Seniors, Paralyzed by Headline News and Events, Become Confident Clients.” 2nd NRMEC Review As soon as we receive your contribution, we will review it. NRMEC reserves the right to refuse a contribution, if we feel that it is not beneficial to reverse mortgage lenders and related professionals. If you are developing a new course, we suggest that you submit a draft for our review, and if you’d like, we will be glad to make suggestions. 3rd Contribution Posted Once your contribution is finalized, we will post it on our website as a downloadable pdf file. 4th What You Can Expect From Us Your contribution remains your property. You simply agree to allow us to post it on our website for others to download free of charge. We require that you leave the educational materials on our website for at least one year. Afterwards, you may request to have it removed. Before someone can download your course, they must agree to our “Personal-Use License Agreement.” This helps to protect your contribution from being copied, distributed, or sold. NRMEC is not liable for any violation of the personal use agreement by anyone who downloads your educational materials. Finally, some people may want to use your educational contribution to copy and distribute to their employees or referral network. You have the option of allowing them to do so by authorizing them limited use reprint rights. This is a transaction between you and the person requesting the reprint rights. NRMEC does not get involved in this transaction. You may charge the person requesting special reprint rights. An example can be found on the last page of the course we mentioned earlier. We look forward to you becoming a contributor to our open educational forum, and together we can enhance the professionalism of our great industry.
